Missing Trees

by Almiris

Missing Trees adds wood sets and blocks for several tree species that vanilla Minecraft leaves incomplete, filling gaps in tree variety.

FabricForgeNeoForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.19.4 – 1.21.1

What it does

The mod targets inconsistencies in the vanilla world, where some trees look incomplete or reuse the wood of other types. It introduces its own wood sets and blocks so those species have proper places in the natural world, staying true to the original style rather than adding fantasy content. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, for 1.19.4 – 1.21.1, and Fabric API is required on Fabric. The code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Dedicated wood sets

Several tree species receive their own wood sets with planks and logs instead of borrowing another tree's wood.

  2. Swamp Oak and Apple trees

Swamp Oak and Apple trees receive their own wood sets rather than reusing other tree types.

  3. Vanilla style kept

New blocks follow the look of the existing vanilla wood, so the additions blend into the natural world.

Missing Trees brings them to life with their own wood sets, blocks, and proper place in the world. The mod doesn’t add fantasy content, it focuses on what feels missing from vanilla Minecraft’s…
