Torchkey lets a player place a torch from a hotkey instead of selecting it in the hotbar first, which keeps lighting an area quick during exploration and mining.

What it does

A keybinding places a torch on the block the player is facing, so the hotbar selection does not need to change. The mod is a client-side utility built for Fabric and Quilt, and Fabric API is required alongside it. Files cover 1.16.1 – 26.3 on Fabric and 1.21 on Quilt, and snapshot builds are published as well. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source, with a public source repository and issue tracker.
