TokyoNoMine
by Yuee
TokyoNoMine is a Forge mod inspired by Tokyo Ghoul that adds a system of Ghouls, Kagunes and Quinques to Minecraft.
What it does
Players can take on the role of a Ghoul or face Ghouls while working for the CCG, and they gain access to unique abilities, RC evolution and fast-paced fights. A Kagune is awakened to enter a combat mode, and several types are available, including Koukaku, Ukaku and Rinkaku, plus special abilities activated with keys. Activating a Kagune plays visual effects and shows a custom combat HUD.
CCG weapons can be crafted and upgraded in a laboratory-style interface, with different ranks and attributes. Combat-based progression affects damage and abilities, and Ghouls have a hunger mechanic. Bosses and enemy Ghouls include creatures with unique Kagunes and phase-based combat.
The mod is installed on the client and the server, so both sides need it. It is published for Forge across six release versions, and it is released under the MIT License, but it is not open source. The mod is still in development and marked as beta, so bugs may occur and some features may change in later releases.
