In The Parasite World, a new threat appears on the Minecraft world and turns the player's terrain into a zone of hazards.
What it does
The mod introduces a small monster that targets the player and their animal companions. Its mysterious blocks spread contamination across the world, reshaping the land into a new form of life that leaves no room for the original ecosystem.
Four parasite blocks make up the core of the content, along with two new mobs. Invasive blocks change the environment they touch. A larva places contamination blocks that gradually widen the infected area, while a carnivorous plant brings its own hazards to the ground. The mod is Forge-only and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.18.2 alone, with 0.0.3 as the latest build.
