The Observer is a Fabric magic mod, for 1.20.1, that gives players an origin with powers tied to crossing between realms.
What it does
Installing the mod adds an origin to the Origins framework. Players who pick it gain an immunity to the glowing effect and a permanent loss of three points of attack damage, paid for with two hearts of maximum health. The origin also works as a counterweight: its abilities are strong in one place and weak in another.
The powers center on moving between the real world and other realms. One ability lets the player dissolve into another realm, called Dimensio Viatorem in the author notes, while another teleports the player to the Nether or the End, named Manifestatio there. A third channels power into the real world, labeled Venox Evanescet. Crouching lets the player reach the peak of their own realm. When the player manifests into the real world, they enter a weakened state in which they are essentially powerless.
The Observer is published for Fabric only, with files for 1.20 and 1.20.1 and version 1.0 as the latest build. It depends on the Origins mod, so Origins must be installed alongside it. Server owners install it, and players can join with or without it. The code is under All rights reserved and is not open source.
