The Bronze Age
by Suleos
The Bronze Age adds two new ores and a bronze tier that sits between stone and iron tools on Fabric for 1.21.4 – 1.21.5.
What it does
Two ores are added to the world: tin, which generates at higher elevations, and copper, which players smelt with tin to produce bronze ingots. Stone tools no longer cut through iron once the bronze tier is in play, so early progression slows down and players must craft stronger tools before moving on.
The mod includes a Spartan-inspired armor set, a complete tool set and horse armor that gives a horse extra protection and a distinct look. Its textures are meant for use with the Excalibur resource pack, which is required and must be installed alongside it. The code is released under the MIT License, but the mod is not open source. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.21.4 – 1.21.5, with 1.1.2 for 1.21.5 as the latest file. Installation covers the server and each player's game.
Key features
Tin and copper ores
Tin generates in higher elevations and combines with copper ingots to produce bronze, which opens the new tier.
Bronze tools
A full tool set sits between stone and iron, giving players a step up before iron tools are available.
Spartan-inspired armor
A new armor set and horse armor add protection and a Spartan look for both players and their mounts.
Early game difficulty
Stone tools no longer suffice for cutting through iron, which makes the early game more demanding and gives progression a clearer order.

Use cases
Slower early game
Players who want the first hours of a survival world to take longer can rely on the new ores and tool requirements to set the pace.
Who it’s for: Survival players and server owners who want a tiered early game with a themed armor and tool set, and who plan to use the Excalibur resource pack for the intended textures.

What the author says
The Bronze Age brings new challenges to early game survival, slowing the player down whilst also offering early game progression and protection. Stone tools will no longer suffice to cut through Iron. You'll need stronger tools for that.
