With Tesseract API, mod developers get helpers for registering blocks, items and fluids, plus a hook framework for building addons on top of Modern Industrialization.
What it does
The library gives mod developers a set of tools that cut down on repetitive setup. Its registering helpers handle blocks, items and fluids, so a developer can declare them in fewer steps. A hook framework and API let other mods attach their own content to Modern Industrialization, which is the main target of the library.
Tesseract API is designed for developers rather than players. Its extra events add points where other code can respond to game actions. Only the NeoForge loader is supported, and files cover 1.20.4, 1.21, 1.21.1 and 26.1.2, so the 1.20.4 – 26.1.2 range is the full span of its builds. Modern Industrialization is an optional dependency, and five mods depend on this library, among them Extended Industrialization, MI Tweaks, Little Big Redstone, Hostile Neural Industrialization and Yet Another Industrialization!.
The mod runs on both client and server, so every player and the server need it installed. It is released under the MIT License and is open source, with public source code, an issue tracker and a wiki. The latest NeoForge file, 1.12.18-1.21.1, targets 1.21.1 and was published on 2026-10-07.
