Tensura: Egos gives the skills of Tensura: Reincarnated a personality, so that each skill develops an ego through repeated use and can be named, muted or given new effects.
What it does
The mod is an addon for Tensura: Reincarnated and needs it to run. Skills gain ego points while they are used, and a skill that has been used and is no longer in use can also gain points over time. Once a skill reaches the configurable default threshold of 500 points, it can be given a name through Tregos, a character in the game. After a skill reaches the maximum friendliness of 1000 points, the name can be added to its speech lines, and the skill can gain new abilities such as dodge chance, death save chance, damage multiplier and a changed colour.
The mod also makes skills speak and sets them against the player. Tregos can mute a skill, which silences its speech for a set time, and each failed speech attempt makes the skill grow more annoyed until it eventually sets itself a random cooldown. Tensura: Egos runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is published for Forge only, for Minecraft 1.19.2, with 1.0.0.4 as the latest file, and the code is All rights reserved and not open source.
