TaCZ: Bullets Back

by neutralboolean

TaCZ: Bullets Back makes mob kills drop ammunition for the guns players carry, so a shooter can restock from combat.

ForgeServer-side onlyGNU General Public License v2.0 or laterOpen source1.20.1

What it does

When a mob dies to a gun shot, the mod can drop bullets matching the weapon in use, with a chance that is set in the config file. The drop tables are tied to TaCZ Unidict, and the mod covers other guns from the TaCZ family as well. Forge is the only loader it targets, and the files are for 1.20.1 alone. The environment is server-side only, so players join without installing it, and the code is open source under the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later.

Key features

  1. Ammunition from mob kills

Mobs struck by a gun shot can drop rounds that fit the weapon the player is holding.

  2. Configurable drop chance

The config file explains each setting, so server owners can tune how often rounds appear.

  3. Support for other guns

Drops are not limited to one weapon, and other guns in the TaCZ line are covered.

What the author says

A highly-configurable mod that uses TaCZ Unidict to add bullet drops to mob kills, when using guns. For Forge 1.20.1. When you shoot a thing, it'll drop bullets for the gun you're using, with a chance to drop rounds for other guns too. The config file is pretty verbose and should explain what each setting does.
