SVC Mute Addon
SVC Mute Addon gives server staff tools to silence single players, whole groups or everyone except approved speakers in Simple Voice Chat, on NeoForge 1.21.1.
What it does
Server staff can mute or unmute an individual player at any time, mute every member of a Simple Voice Chat group with one command, or switch on a global voice lockdown that disables every microphone except those of selected players. Enforcement happens on the server, so a muted player cannot bypass it with a client change. Muted players see a locked microphone icon and receive a chat message announcing the mute or unmute.
The addon is aimed at moments where a server needs a quiet room: events, tournaments, roleplay sessions, community meetings and announcements, or any situation where only certain players should talk. Commands cover each action, including a vcmod list command that shows who is muted. Simple Voice Chat must be installed on the server and on every client that connects.
SVC Mute Addon is client and server, so the server must run it and players connect with Simple Voice Chat enabled. Files are published for NeoForge only, for 1.21.1, with 0.1.1 as the latest file from 2025-12-14. The addon is open source under the MIT License.
