Sizechange

by mMeneske

With Sizechange installed, a Datapack changes the size of the player and some items, and the Datapack needs a texture pack to show the custom totems.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalAll rights reserved1.21.9 – 26.3

What it does

Sizechange adds shields and totems that are crafted to change the player's size. Crafting a totem with redstone and lapis instead of emeralds makes the player two times smaller, and the crafted items are meant to slow block breaking in most cases. Other recipes use redstone blocks and lapis blocks, and a stronger one makes the player two times bigger, making it almost impossible to break anything. A recipe with four times the size makes breaking blocks effectively impossible.

The shield recipe is written to make a shield without the Curse of Vanishing, and the shield is unbreakable. The mod is a Datapack, so it runs on the server, and the server requires it while the client may leave it out. Players who join without the Datapack still see the normal size, and a separate texture pack supplies the huge totem texture. The current Minecraft version is listed as 26.3, with files for 1.21.9 – 26.3 and eight release versions in total.

Key features

  1. Size-changing crafting

Totems and shields crafted with redstone, lapis or their block forms change the player's size, in steps of two and four times.

  2. Unbreakable shield recipe

A shield recipe without the Curse of Vanishing produces a shield that cannot break.

  3. Custom totem texture

A separate texture pack displays the huge totem, so the custom totems do not appear as purple and black cubes.

  4. Hand and offhand items

Custom items placed in the hand or offhand change the player's size while they are held, and the inventory returns to normal afterwards.

What the author says

This texturepack is required to have the datapack operational, well you don't need it but all the custom totems will be purple and black cubes. By putting any of the custom items this datapack provides in your hand/offhand you can change size, and by hiding it in your inventory you become normal sized again.
