Survival Rework
by JustJabka
Survival Rework changes the survival rules of Minecraft, adding new mechanics and altering existing ones so that the early game is harder to get through.
What it does
Survival Rework replaces parts of the vanilla survival loop. Wooden tools take over the role that flint tools played, and stone tools take over the role that copper tools played, so the early progression follows a different order. Healing is reworked as well, and new mechanics such as bleeding, bone fractures, a thirst bar and a temperature bar are added on top of the health system.
The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, across 11 release versions covering 1.20.5 – 26.1.2, and it is also available as a data pack for server platforms. The server must run the mod, while players may add it but do not have to. The code is open source under the MIT License, and public links exist for the source code, issue tracker and wiki.
