Super Axes
Super Axes is a Fabric tool mod for chopping trees: a super axe can fell a whole tree and clear its connected leaves in a single action.
What it does
Super Axes adds axes built to chop down trees faster, which eases the gathering of wood. A player who sneaks while using the tool gets ordinary axe behavior back, so a single log can still be cut by hand. Leaves can be harvested as well, and the search radius used to find leaves connected to a felled tree is set in the config; a larger radius makes forests with many trees slower to process. Silk Touch works on leaves in versions after 20w20b.
The mod also includes debug options. Show Debug Lines draws an outline around each log, and Show Debug Highlight marks it, both toggled by sneaking and shift right clicking; each setting can be turned off the same way. Changing the held item stops the chopping process partway through a tree. The Netherite super axe is crafted at a smithing table.
Super Axes runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it requires Fabric API. It is published for Fabric only, across four game versions, 1.16.2 – 1.16.5, with 2.0.10 for 1.16.5 as the latest file. The code is open source under the MIT License.
