Mineshot Reforged
Mineshot Reforged, a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.16.5, captures high-resolution screenshots, with an option to render them through an orthographic camera.
What it does
A screenshot is taken with a single key press and written as a Targa image. Camera controls rotate the view around the scene, switch between a top, front and side view, and change the projection between perspective and orthographic. Rotation and zoom can be applied in fixed steps or incrementally, and the key bindings appear in the Minecraft Controls menu.
The mod uses tiled rendering with an off-screen framebuffer, so it can produce images larger than the game window. Because the Targa format is limited to 65535 by 65535 pixels, very large captures are capped at that size. Large 4K captures produce big files, so the chosen resolution should be set carefully. A GUI provides the configuration.
The code is based largely on the original Mineshot Barracuda mod, which the author credits. Mineshot Reforged is listed as a revived version of that work. The author notes that several features are not yet working, so some options may not behave as described.
