Storage Tracker
by ElmerLion
Players with large bases and scattered storage rooms can use Storage Tracker to find items fast through an in-game search screen.
What it does
Storage Tracker keeps an index of the containers a player marks for tracking, and it runs on the client only. Chests, barrels, shulker boxes, hoppers, furnaces and other supported containers can be added, and areas can be created to group separate storage locations. The mod saves a local record of each tracked container's contents, stored per world or server, so the index can be searched later without opening every container again.
A search screen lets the player look up an item and see its exact tracked locations and total counts across all tracked storage. Nested shulker boxes inside tracked storage are indexed as well, so items inside them appear in results. A server does not need to install the mod, and the project is released under the MIT License, which is not open source. Files exist for 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3, with 1.2.1+26.3 as the latest build for 26.3.

Use cases
Large bases with sorting systems
A base with many storage rooms can be searched from one screen instead of checking each chest by hand.
Per-world storage records
The saved records are kept for each world or server, so the index matches the base being played.
Who it’s for: Players with large bases, sorting systems or scattered storage rooms who want a searchable index of their containers. Server owners do not need to install the mod, since it runs on the client alone.
How it compares
ChestNet is a client-side Fabric mod for 26.1.2 – 26.2 under the MIT License, and it is not open source. Searchify is client-side only for 26.2 and licensed under All rights reserved, so its terms differ from this mod's. Unified Storage is server-side only for 26.1.2 and is not open source, so it needs installing on the server rather than on each player's client.
