StepUpAgain2
by OneDefauter
StepUpAgain2 raises the player's step height so that full blocks can be walked up smoothly, without the hop that vanilla auto-jump uses.
What it does
The mod gives a choice of three movement modes, which the player cycles through with the default toggle key J: smooth step-up movement, normal movement, and vanilla auto-jump. Each mode changes how the character climbs a block edge, so a player can compare them on the same terrain and keep the one that feels right. Because the mode can be switched at any time, a single session can use more than one style of movement.
The main mode raises the step height so the character moves over a block edge in a more continuous way instead of repeatedly hopping up terrain. At first glance, the movement resembles the vanilla auto-jump, yet each step is more direct and skips the stutter and the hunger drain that come with repeated jumps. Players who prefer the vanilla behavior can leave the mod on a mode that matches it.
The settings are stored per server, so a server that feels better with the feature enabled can keep it while other servers keep their own movement rules. Plugins and anti-cheat setups may prefer the feature left off, which the per-server setting allows. The mod runs entirely on the client and works in singleplayer and on vanilla-compatible servers, and it requires Fabric API. Server-side installation is not needed for normal use. A fork refreshed for the complete 1.21.x series, with one jar meant to operate across every release in that line.

What the author says
An updated Fabric build of StepUp for Minecraft 1.21.x, covering 1.21 through 1.21.11. StepUp increases the player's step height so you can walk up blocks smoothly instead of jumping into them. The result feels similar to vanilla auto-jump at first glance, but the movement is more direct and avoids the awkward timing…
