Stackable Items
Stackable Items raises the stack size of items such as totems and boats to 64 per slot on servers running Minecraft 1.20.5 and above.
What it does
Stackable Items changes the stack size of many items that normally stack to one or sixteen, so a single slot can hold 64 of them. Items obtained from creative inventory, loot chests or mob and block drops are covered, as are items stored before the datapack was installed. Dropped stacks stay together on the ground and can be picked up again as a group. Chest boats, hanging signs and music discs are among the affected items.
Recipes that use the modified items are adjusted too, so a chest boat can be crafted from stackable boats. The recipe book auto-fills the crafting grid as usual, and recipes the player can craft normally still work without auto-fill. Buckets are the exception: they keep their default stack size, which keeps emptying water and lava buckets in a furnace or crafting process working, and milk bucket and cake recipes unchanged.
The mod is server required, with the client optional. It needs Fabric API on Fabric. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and Quilt, covering 1.20.5, 1.20.6 and 1.21, and snapshot builds are also published. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, though public links to its source code, issue tracker and wiki exist.
Key features
Larger item stacks
Totems, boats, signs, buckets and other items stack up to 64 per slot instead of their default size.
Drops and loot
Mob drops, block drops and items from loot chests stack together, including items stored before the datapack was added.
Recipe adjustments
Recipes are updated for the modified items, such as crafting a chest boat from stackable boats.
Buckets kept unstackable
Buckets stay at their default stack size, so water, lava and milk buckets behave as in vanilla.

However, items obtained from the creative inventory, loot chests or items stored prior to the installation of this datapack will not be stackable by default. To make those items…
