Space and Constellations changes the night sky on Forge 1.20.1, so a telescope and charts take the place of simply sleeping until morning.
What it does
Players craft a telescope to look across the sky at nebulae, planets and moving satellites. Celestial bodies are tracked by drawing constellations such as Ursa Major, Leo, Capricorn and Pisces, and connecting their points opens abilities. Falling bodies can be caught through a spyglass, and the Stardust they yield can be spent with experience on permanent upgrades.
The mod is built for adventure and magic progression on Forge 1.20.1. Dynamic celestial events, including meteor showers during the New Moon, make collecting stardust faster on those nights. Because it changes how night is spent, it affects gameplay for players who would otherwise skip the night.
Installation requires Forge 1.20.1 only. Space and Constellations runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source.
