Sourceflow Infinite

by yelle233

With Sourceflow Infinite, two machines are linked through a medium called Void Fluid, letting players build a fluid recycling loop.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.20.1 – 1.21.1

What it does

Sourceflow Infinite is a tech-focused mod centered on fluid recycling production. Void Fluid acts as the middle step, and two machines pass material through it in a closed cycle. The Destruction Machine breaks down fluids and converts Void Fluid according to configured rules, and the Infinite Fluid Machine turns Void Fluid into a bound target fluid, which allows controlled fluid output inside an automated production line.

Setup is shared by both sides: the mod runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with 2.5 as the latest build for each loader. The code is open source under the MIT License, and public source code is available for the project.

Key features

  1. Void Fluid loop

Void Fluid carries material between the Destruction Machine and the Infinite Fluid Machine, closing the production cycle.

  2. Configurable conversion

Conversion rules, machine power use and capacity, overclock behavior and pressure or explosion parameters can be adjusted in the config.

  3. Blacklist by ID or tag

The blacklist accepts both block IDs and tags, and the Void Fluid behavior in survival can be restricted.

  4. Recipe changes with KubeJS

Recipes can be modified through KubeJS, so pack makers can tune the machines without editing the jar.

Use cases

Automated fluid factories

Pipes, tanks and logic controls can be combined with the two machines to build a stable infinite-fluid factory.

Chemical production with Mekanism

Compatibility with Mekanism enables chemical destruction and production in the same loop.

Who it’s for: Players who build automated factories and pack makers who want fluid recycling in a technology pack. Server owners who need a shared, configurable production line will find the options most useful.

How it compares

Full comparison

Mekanism:More Machine is another Forge and NeoForge option for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 with the same client and server environment and the MIT License, and it is open source. SourceBlock covers the same version range under the MIT License, also open source, without a stated environment. AE2 Lightning Tech is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and its versions reach 26.1.2, beyond the 1.21.1 range of Sourceflow Infinite.
