Sophisticated Emerald Upgrade adds an Emerald tier to the Sophisticated Storage and Sophisticated Backpacks line, sitting above Netherite for capacity and stack sizes.
What it does
The mod adds an Emerald Upgrade for backpacks and storage blocks. The upgrade raises storage capacity beyond the Netherite tier and increases stack sizes. Emerald versions of the barrel, chest and shulker box are added, along with four Emerald Limited Barrel variants and an Emerald Backpack. Emerald storage blocks support the vanilla wood types, and wood variants are preserved when an existing storage block is upgraded.
Upgrading keeps the contents, colors, materials and custom storage data of the original block. Crafting the upgrade from Netherite storage into the Emerald tier takes an Emerald Upgrade Template, which turns up as rare loot inside chests. The mod fits alongside the existing systems of Sophisticated Storage. It needs Sophisticated Backpacks, Sophisticated Core and Sophisticated Storage to run. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Builds exist for NeoForge across 11 release versions, 1.21 – 26.2, and it is released under the MIT License, so it is open source.
