Better Library is a core library for the Better Villagers mod, providing the backend functions that mod depends on.
What it does
Better Library has no standalone features of its own. Its job is to supply backend functionality to Better Villagers, handling configuration, key integrations and internal systems so that mod runs smoothly. Players who install Better Villagers on Fabric, Forge or NeoForge will need this library alongside it.
The library is loaded on both sides, so the server and every player need it. Files cover game versions 1.21 – 26.2 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the code is released under the MIT License as open source. Mod Menu is an optional dependency that the library can use, and the source code, issue tracker and wiki are all public.
