Sophie's Alloys reworks how tools are progressed and upgraded, letting players mix and match materials to build their own gear.

What it does

The mod replaces the usual fixed tool progression with a system where players combine materials to shape the tools they want. Recipes for upgrading tools are documented on the project's GitHub wiki, and a recipe viewer such as REI or JEI is recommended until the system is familiar. Create is required, and Create: Design n' Decor, Create: Dreams & Desires, Farmer's Delight and Quark are optional companions. The mod runs on client and server, and it is published for Forge and NeoForge under a custom license that is not open source.
