Somnia Refreshed

Somnia Refreshed simulates world sleep. Players choose a wake time by interacting with a bed while sneaking, instead of holding a clock. The fatigue system shows its current level through potion effects rather than introducing new effects of its own, and a HUD element displays the fatigue state.

The mod adds configuration options that can disable the fatigue system or speed up time without changing the rest of the world, and individual elements such as the sleeping GUI progress bar, the remaining time clock and other ticks can be turned off. It also fixes the camera so the player is rendered facing the right direction while sleeping, and it has been adjusted to keep working correctly after the time set commands are used.

A fork of Somnia Awoken for Minecraft 1.12.2, Somnia Refreshed is the revised continuation of that sleep-simulation project. It is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and the source code and issue tracker are public. It runs on the client and the server, so both need to install it, and files are published for Forge only, for 1.12.2, with 1.0.1 as the latest file from July 18, 2024.
