Too Many Maces
Too Many Maces adds several new mace types to Minecraft, each with its own effect when a smash attack lands, for Fabric in 1.21 and 1.21.1.
What it does
The mod replaces the vanilla mace with a set of variants. The Gravity Mace makes hit entities levitate, the Ice Mace freezes them, and the Lightning Mace calls down a strike in the manner of Thor's hammer. The Isolation Mace marks its target with glowing, weakness and slowness, and deals extra damage based on how far the player falls. The Impact Mace has a much wider area of effect with stronger knockback, and the Obsidian Mace can be crafted. Several potions are added as well, and the Mace Core raises jump boost for more involved mace combat.
Players cannot jump or fall while some of these effects are active, which the author lists as a deliberate restriction of the variants. Maces are obtainable in survival, and the crafting path uses vanilla materials alongside the mod's own items. The mod is distributed for Fabric only, with files for 1.21 and 1.21.1 and the 1.0 release as the latest, and it is licensed under the MIT License without being open source. Both the server and every player need it, because the effects are applied to entities during combat.
