Smart Pause stops the game from pausing when the window loses focus, so gameplay keeps running during an Alt+Tab switch.
What it does
Normally Minecraft pauses when the window loses focus, which interrupts play and shows the pause screen to anyone watching a stream. Smart Pause changes that behavior so the world keeps advancing while another window is active. A player can switch to a browser, a chat client or a settings window and return without the game having frozen.
The mod is aimed at players who need to stay in a match while multitasking, including PvP players, content creators who run a live feed, and anyone who reads chat or adjusts options during play. Because the pause screen no longer appears on focus loss, viewers of a stream do not see it. Smart Pause is client-side only, so only the player's own game needs it, and no server or other player has to install it.
The file is published for Fabric only, for Minecraft 1.21.11. Smart Pause is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
