SkyTech Core is a Forge library that supplies shared code and items for the SkyTech Modpack, with BucketLib and Ex Deorum as required dependencies.

What it does

The mod is built around a core set of items that the SkyTech Modpack relies on, including a Wooden Shears item and a Wooden Bucket item. Its content depends on two other mods, BucketLib and Ex Deorum, so both must be present for it to load. Ex Deorum is a sizable mod in its own right, and SkyTech Core works alongside it rather than replacing any of its features.

Forge files exist for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, six release versions in total, and the latest file is 0.2.0-1.20.1-t for 1.20.6, published on 2026-04-04 on the alpha channel. The code is released under the MIT License but is not open source. Because the environment is client and server, the server and every player need the mod installed. The author notes that the SkyTech modpack itself has not been released yet, so the core mod is currently only useful as a building block for that pack.
