SinoCate brings traditional Chinese dishes into Minecraft as food items, with recipes for cooking them.
What it does
Food items in SinoCate are drawn from traditional Chinese cuisine, so players can prepare regional dishes instead of the vanilla meals. The content is built on Fabric API, which the mod requires to run. Because it is Fabric only, a Forge setup will not load it, although the feature list notes Forge support.
Both the server and each player need SinoCate installed, since the environment is client and server. Two game versions are covered by files: 1.18 and 1.18.1, with snapshot2201 for 1.18.1 as the latest file, published on 2022-03-06 on the alpha channel. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and the source, issue tracker and wiki are public.

Chinese Foods is a Fabric mod for 1.20.4 that is client and server, and is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. Chinese Food is also Fabric, but for 1.21.4, and licensed under the same GPL v3.0 only. World of Food covers 1.16 – 1.18.2 on Fabric with the MIT License, so it reaches the 1.18 versions that SinoCate targets.
