SimpleMusic
by CrystalNeko
SimpleMusic is a client-side music player for Minecraft 1.21 and 1.21.1, which plays MIDI and MP3 files from the game directory by name.
What it does
Players place MIDI and MP3 files into the music folders inside the game directory, then start a track with the simplemusic or sm command followed by the track name. The command stop, or sm stop, ends playback. Only the client needs the mod, so players can join a server without installing it on the server side. Builds exist for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt, covering 1.21 – 1.21.1, with Kotlin for Forge listed as a required dependency for the Forge line. The code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.
