Simple Progression Extra

Simple Progression Extra places a Progression Book button in the survival and creative inventory screens, next to the crafting area, for players who use the Simple Progression journal often.
What it does
The button sits beside the character crafting grid, so the progression book opens from the inventory without a command. The position is recalculated whenever the vanilla Recipe Book is opened or closed, so the button stays where it belongs. In creative mode the button appears in the creative inventory interface as well, and a simple command is available for the same purpose.
The mod is an add-on and needs Simple Progression, the original mod that supplies the progression mechanics and the journal design. It is meant to work alongside Simple Progression Vanilla Progression by StudiousGoose. Simple Progression Extra exists only to make the GUI easier to reach and leaves every progression rule as it is.
Builds are published for Fabric only, for game version 26.2, with 1.1.7 as the latest file released on 2026-08-11. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The code is under the MIT License and is not open source.
