Shut Up Narrator
by Rime
Shut Up Narrator turns off the Minecraft narrator, so text-to-speech never starts on Fabric clients.
What it does
The mod removes the narrator and sets the narrator instance to empty, which leaves the narrator effectively idle. It also skips the native library check that causes a large log dump on some operating systems, since a text-to-speech setup is not needed. Only the client needs it; servers run without it. Builds cover 1.20.5 – 1.21.8 on Fabric, with 1.0.0 for 1.21.8 as the latest file, and the code is not open source.
Key features
Narrator removal
Disables the in-game narrator so spoken menu and chat readouts do not play.
Empty narrator instance
Sets the narrator instance to empty, so the narrator does nothing even if the setting is toggled.
No library check
Removes the native library check that otherwise dumps a large block of log output on some operating systems.
Compatibility

What the author says
Removes the narrator by setting the narrator instance to EMPTY which is effectively no-op. Also removes the library check that causes a huge log dump when the native library is not found (which happens on basically all my linux setups because I don't need a TTS).
