Servux
by masa
Servux is a server-side mod that sends structure bounding box data to clients whose own mods can display it, once a player joins a server or hosted LAN world that runs it.
What it does
Servux is a server-side mod that gives client-side mods extra support when a player joins a server that runs it. Its one current feature sends structure bounding box data to client-side mods that can show those boxes, so players see them without installing anything beyond their own client mod. Servux is never needed on clients or in single player, and it is only useful on a multiplayer server. The only client-side case is a player who hosts a LAN game, where other players who connect receive the same benefits as on a dedicated server.
The mod is published for Fabric only, with files for 44 release versions across 1.14.4 – 26.3. Server owners install it, and players connect with no copy of their own. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only. A larger set of features is planned, and those features will come with commands to switch them on or off, but version 0.1.x has no commands because it has only the one feature.

Use cases
Dedicated multiplayer servers
Server owners install Servux so players whose client-side mods use bounding box data can see structure boxes while they play.
Hosted LAN games
A player who opens a LAN world can run Servux locally, and the people who join receive the same support as on a dedicated server.
Who it’s for: Server owners who run Fabric servers for players with client-side mods that use structure bounding box data, and players who host LAN worlds for friends with those mods.
How it compares
MasaAdditions is client-side only, open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and published for Fabric across 1.16.5 – 1.20.1. Bounding Box Outline Reloaded is a client and server mod, open source under the MIT License, and covers Fabric and Forge across 1.16.3 – 1.21. Servux is server-side only, so it runs without any client-side installation and is limited to the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.
