Sengoku EMI/JEI integration

by Almalexy

Sengoku EMI/JEI integration lets EMI or JEI show the sake brewing recipes that Sengoku Jidai adds, so players can look them up in the item viewer.

FabricNeoForgeClient-side onlyMIT License1.21.1

What it does

The integration shows the 11 sake brewing recipes from Sengoku Jidai inside EMI or JEI. Without it, those recipes are not listed in either viewer, so players would have to find them by other means. Once it is installed alongside the required dependencies, the recipes appear in the viewer like any other recipe.

It requires Sengoku Jidai, Sengoku Jidai Mod and Sinytra Connector, together with the Sengoku Jidai + Sinytra Connector Patch. EMI and Just Enough Items (JEI) are optional, and the integration works with either one. The files are published for Fabric and NeoForge, for 1.21.1 only, and the environment is client-side only, so servers do not need it.

The current 2.0.0 builds for Fabric and NeoForge were published on 2026-06-22. The first release came out on 2026-06-17. The code is released under the MIT License and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Sake brewing recipes in EMI

The 11 sake brewing recipes from Sengoku Jidai are listed in the EMI item viewer when the integration is present.

  2. Sake brewing recipes in JEI

Just Enough Items (JEI) can display the same sake brewing recipes, for players who use that viewer instead of EMI.

  3. Recipe visibility for the mod

Recipes added by Sengoku Jidai become visible in the viewer, so brewing steps can be found without outside guides.

  4. Sinytra Connector bridge

A patch connects the integration to Sinytra Connector and the Sengoku Jidai content it depends on.

Use cases

Looking up sake brewing

A player who wants to brew sake can search the viewer for a sake recipe instead of checking an external list.

Who it’s for: Players who install Sengoku Jidai and want its brewing recipes shown in EMI or JEI. The integration is for the client, so it is added to the player installation only.

How it compares

Questions

Does Sengoku EMI/JEI integration need Sinytra Connector?

Yes. Sinytra Connector is a required dependency, and the Sengoku Jidai + Sinytra Connector Patch is required as well.

Does the integration need NeoForge or Fabric?

Both loaders are supported. Builds exist for Fabric and NeoForge, and the 2.0.0 file is available on each for 1.21.1.

Does the server need this integration?

No. Only the player's game needs it, and servers run without it.
