[DISCONTINUED][SBW] Wrecked!
by NotPancerny
Wrecked! changes what happens to SuperbWarfare vehicles after they are destroyed, leaving physical wrecks in place of the usual disappearing tanks.
What it does
Instead of vanishing once health reaches zero, a destroyed SuperbWarfare vehicle becomes a physical wreck that stays on the battlefield. The wrecks act as lasting cover and obstacles, so scars from a fight remain after it is over. A toggle controls the auto-cleanup system, and the wreck lifetime, cutting speed, scrap drop rates and a wreck system blacklist can all be adjusted in the config.
The mod adds a dedicated cutting tool for taking wrecks apart. Armor plates can be sliced through with visual and sound effects, and a dismantled iron wreck yields Scrap, so players can recover resources from vehicle wrecks. Over the first few seconds after a vehicle is destroyed, a custom render layer fades its paint to a charred black, so the original colors give way to a scorched look.
Wrecked! is a Forge mod and runs on the client and the server, so the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.20.1 – 1.21.11 with 18 release versions, and the latest Forge file is 1.1.2 for 1.21.11. The mod depends on SuperbWarfare, and it is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. The project is not open source.
