by Sarocesch

Saro's Parkour Blocks Remastered adds special parkour blocks for Forge 1.20.1, each with a distinctive appearance and a set of movement or potion effects.

What it does

Players who build parkour courses can use blocks that apply potion effects when stepped on: jump boost, speed boost and slow falling are the listed effects, and the blocks can be placed to shape a course around them. Some blocks move along custom patterns, which supports dynamic challenges in puzzle maps and adventure builds. A block can also be disguised as another block, so a parkour route can stay hidden until a player finds it.

The mod is a Forge minigame and game mechanics addition for 1.20.1 only. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Its Forge file is version 1.1 for 1.20.1, dated 2025-10-20, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. A wiki is linked from the listing. Recipes for the Parkour Block can be checked in JEI or REI.

Key features

  1. Potion effect blocks

Stepping on a block applies a potion effect such as a jump boost, a speed boost or slow falling.

  2. Moving blocks

Blocks can be set to travel along custom movement patterns, which makes timed jumps harder to predict.

  3. Disguised parkour blocks

A parkour block can take the look of another block, so routes can be hidden inside a build.

  4. Distinctive appearance

The parkour blocks look different from ordinary building blocks, which makes courses identifiable at a glance.
