Rideble Dragon Mount

The mod introduces three new mobs, two new blocks and one new egg. A tame dragon can be ridden by two players at once, one in the driver seat and one in the passenger seat. Whoever rides it gets Night Vision and slow falling, and the dragon can eat hostile undead mobs. It has four different states with their own animations, and flying is one of them.

Hostile dragons spawn near End ships and always attack players who come close. They dash at a player with several quick bites and pierce through, and after an attack the player is hit with darkness so that only the dragon ship can be seen. Dragon Egg drops are tied to player kills. A Happy Dragon egg hatches in about 10 minutes when placed on Crying Obsidian. Players who need a quick vertical route can use the Slime-like block, which launches an entity upward with levitation for one second and lifts it about 10 blocks.

Installation requires the server to run the mod, while clients may leave it out. Rideble Dragon Mount is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with files for 1.21.6 – 1.21.10. The code is not open source, and the mod is released under All rights reserved. A data pack version is also listed.
