Retro Tweaks
Retro Tweaks lets players send their Minecraft back in time, restoring older-version textures, sounds and loot tables without swapping packs by hand.
What it does
The mod rolls back a range of vanilla content toward older Minecraft releases, covering textures, sounds and loot tables. Its bundled resource pack is meant to stand in for packs such as Golden Days, and it ships as a data pack component too. Players install it on the client, while a server can run without it.
Retro Tweaks is published for Fabric and NeoForge, with files for 1.21.11 and 26.1.2 and 26.2 under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and it is open source. Architectury API is required on both loaders, and Fabric API is also required on Fabric.
Key features
Older textures
Blocks, items and entities are restyled to match the look of earlier Minecraft releases.
Retro sounds and loot
Sound effects and loot tables are adjusted to recall older versions of the game.
Bundled resource pack
A built-in pack replaces packs such as Golden Days, so no separate install is needed.

What the author says
Retro Tweaks does not replace resource packs or data packs. Textures, sounds, loot tables, etc. are much more appropriate to be included in a resource pack like Golden Days or a data pack rather than in a mod.
