Resourcepack-loader

by Anom-uxxx

Resourcepack-loader switches the active resource packs when a player joins a server, using a per-server profile set in its configuration.

FabricClient-side onlyCreative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.01.21.10 – 1.21.11

What it does

Each server can have its own resource pack profile, which sets which packs are activated, deactivated or ignored when the player connects. On joining a configured server, those packs are applied straight away, with no manual switching. Servers without a profile of their own fall back to a default profile, and the configuration is saved to resourcepack-loader.json. The number of server profiles is not limited.

Installation needs Fabric API. ModMenu is recommended, since its configuration screen is where server addresses are added and their packs are chosen. The mod is client-side only, so servers run without it. Files are published for Fabric for 1.21.10 and 1.21.11, and the latest is 3.0.26 for 1.21.11, released 2026-01-03. The license is Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0, and the source code is public on GitHub. It is not open source.

Key features

  1. Per-server pack profiles

Each server can have its own list of resource packs to activate, deactivate or ignore.

  2. Automatic switching on join

When a player enters a configured server, its packs are applied without any further action.

  3. Default fallback profile

Servers without their own profile use a default profile, so no manual switching is needed there either.

  4. Configuration screen

A GUI reached through ModMenu lists server profiles and their resource packs in one place.

Who it’s for: Players who join several servers that each use their own resource packs, and players who want a default pack set for servers that have no profile.
