Resource Trees

by Ajay

Resource Trees, by Ajay, lets trees and leaves supply resources in place of mining, with wooden, stone and iron crooks plus acorns that grow new trees.

FabricForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.18.2 – 1.20.3

What it does

The mod changes how resources are gathered: breaking oak leaves can drop acorns, and planting them grows trees that yield materials, so players do not have to rely on mines. The Wooden Crook, Stone Crook and Iron Crook are tools made from sticks and rods, each in four-stick or four-rod recipes. Petrified trees, petrified acorns and petrified resin are part of the set, while coal trees and coal acorns cover coal. Petrified trees are limited to version 1.18.2.

The mod requires Fabric API and runs on Fabric or Forge. Files are offered for 1.18.2, 1.20.1 and 1.20.3, with the latest Fabric build 0.1.5 for 1.20.3 and the latest Forge build 0.1-forge for 1.18.2 on the beta channel. The server and every player need the mod installed. Resource Trees is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Trees as a resource source

Planted acorns grow trees that produce resources, offering a route to materials other than mining.

  2. Crook tools

Wooden, stone and iron crooks are crafted from sticks or rods and serve as the tools for this resource system.

  3. Petrified and coal variants

Petrified trees, petrified acorns, petrified resin, coal trees and coal acorns add separate resource branches to the mod.

  4. Acorns from oak leaves

Breaking oak leaves can yield acorns, which start the growth cycle for the trees.
