Repeater Sound

by HeyBlack233

Repeater Sound plays a click when a player interacts with redstone components such as repeaters, comparators, redstone wire and daylight detectors, and the sound can be tuned.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.16 – 26.3

What it does

Clicks, pitch, volume and random pitch offset are all adjustable for the sounds played on redstone components. Three interaction modes decide how the mod responds when a block is clicked: normal, alarm and disabled. The mode is switched in-game with the repeatersound command, using an uppercase argument such as NORMAL, since arguments are case-sensitive. The command lists the available options, so the settings can be checked without leaving the game.

The mod is client-side only, so a server does not need it and players can join without installing it. It requires Fabric API. A config screen is available through Mod Menu, which relies on Cloth Config API for its settings. After the first launch the mod creates repeatersound.json in the game's config directory, and players who prefer editing the file by hand can change the values there. Files cover 1.16 – 26.3 across 25 release versions, with 1.6.1 for 26.3 as the latest Fabric file, and snapshot builds are published. The code is open source under the MIT License.
