REI No Partial Recipes shows the full vanilla recipe set in Roughly Enough Items on servers that do not run REI, for Fabric players on 1.21.8 – 1.21.11.

What it does

The mod exists as a workaround for public vanilla servers where REI cannot be installed. Once active, it lets a player see complete vanilla recipes in REI, which the server would otherwise send only in part. Servers that want full vanilla recipes for their players can rely on it too, and the mod warns when a server's data is partial and offers an option to enable vanilla recipes.

Fabric API and Roughly Enough Items (REI) are both required. Mod Menu is optional and only adds a configuration screen. The mod is client-side only, so players install it alone, and it is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. Published builds cover 1.21.8 – 1.21.11 for Fabric.

Key features

  1. Full vanilla recipes in REI

Vanilla recipes are supplied by the mod, so REI shows recipes that a partial server data set would hide.

  2. Partial data warning

A Partial Recipes Data Warning appears with an option to enable vanilla recipes for the affected server.

  3. Per-server control

Inside REI's settings, the mod can be turned on or off for specific servers in the server list.

  4. Settings inside REI

The mod's options are embedded in REI's settings, so no separate menu is needed to adjust them.

How it compares

Full comparison

Less Than Enough Items is a client-side Fabric mod for 1.21.4 under the MIT License, and it is open source. REI Cheat Keybind is also client-side and open source under the MIT License, but it targets 1.16.1 – 1.17.1 and is a different tool. Access REI Recipes From A Block covers 1.16.3 – 1.17.1 with the same license, so its version range does not overlap with this mod.

What the author says

This Mod allows REI to display all vanilla recipes on servers that do not use REI. Please note this mod does not replace REI on the server. It is ony meant as workaround, if you can't install REI on the server, because it is fully vanilla or a public server. To use the mod, go on a server you want to have full…
