Wueffis RegReader for Computational Redstone
by Wueffi
Players who debug redstone circuits can watch register values update live with Wueffis RegReader for Computational Redstone, a Fabric HUD overlay.
What it does
The overlay shows the values held in registers and updates them in real time on screen. It works with register files built from lamps and torches as well as the standard register blocks, so a computational build can be read without opening a menu. Players can toggle the overlay with the F9 key, or run a command whenever the display is needed.
Each register can be given a custom name, moved, renamed, sorted or deleted from the HUD, which keeps a large build manageable. Bit width, spacing and inverted register files can be configured, and the broad ranges covered by register files can be adjusted. The settings are saved and carry across servers, so the layout does not have to be rebuilt on each join.
The mod is client required and server optional, so the player who wants the overlay installs it while a server can run without it. It is published only for Fabric, across 20 release versions 1.20.4 – 26.3, and the code is licensed under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0, which means the mod is not open source.
Key features
Real-time register display
Register values are drawn directly on the screen and refresh as the circuit runs.
Custom HUD layout
The overlay can be moved, recolored and reshaped to fit the rest of the player's interface.
Named registers
Registers can be given custom names, which makes tracking a build easier than reading raw numbers.
Register management
Registers can be added, deleted, renamed and sorted, with per-build organization kept in the HUD.

Multi-build worlds
Players with several computers in one world can give each register a clear name and keep the HUD tidy.
Who it’s for: Players building computational redstone who need to monitor register values without stopping the circuit.
