Redstone Signal Bind Wand
by ATGC
Redstone Bind Wand lets a player link a redstone source and a redstone output across distance, so a lever can switch a piston door several blocks away.
What it does
Right-click a block with the wand to make it a source that emits redstone, such as a lever or button. Right-click a second block to make it an output that receives the signal, such as a redstone lamp, piston or door. A green outline drawn around a linked block appears on screen whenever the player holds the wand and looks at it, marking which connection is active. A bind is removed automatically when either the source or the output block is broken.
Binds carry power without redstone dust in between, which avoids the long wiring runs that tie up space in builds. Because the link works with vanilla redstone logic, it can cross dimensions and combines with existing circuits. The wand is aimed at secret doors, remote traps and synchronized multi-room builds. Client and server both need the mod, and the code is open source under the MIT License. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.20.1, with version 1.0.2 as the latest file from 2025-10-10.
Key features
Source and output binding
Two right-clicks pair a redstone source with an output, and the power follows the link instantly.
Visible connection outline
Holding the wand over a linked block shows a green outline box that marks where the connection ends.
Automatic cleanup
A bind is dropped when either end is broken, so no stale links remain in the world.
Craftable wand
The Redstone Bind Wand is made from a recipe that uses ordinary materials available in survival.

Use cases
Hidden doors
A lever in one room can open a door in another, with no visible wire between them.
Remote traps
A single source can drive an output placed far from the trigger.
Who it’s for: Builders and redstone players who want to control several components from one place, without running dust across the build. Server owners can install it for shared builds.
