Redexed reworks enchantments and curses on Fabric 1.20.1, letting curses count toward the item slot limit and adding extra enchantment slots.
What it does
Redexed is a fork of ZoeyTheEgoist's Indexed, updated for 1.20.1 with new features and more support for other mods. Its default experimental curse overhaul is turned on, and that setting changes the indexed.properties file so that curses use up slots on an item. Each curse that gets added grants two extra enchantment slots, and an item that reduces the number of consumed slots becomes useful once a player reaches level 2 of the curse tier.
Redexed natively supports a long list of content mods, including Additional Additions, Biome Makeover, Create Garnished, Crossbow Expansion and Farmer's Delight, among others. Biome Makeover in particular adds many new curses, so the combination works with both installed. Redexed needs Fabric API, and the mod is published only for Fabric 1.20.1, with the latest file, 1.3.0, dated 2024-02-18. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The code is under the MIT License and the project is open source.
