Random Item gives every player a random item when a countdown timer ends, and a server operator can set the timer length with a command.
What it does
Random Item runs an end timer for everyone on the server. When the countdown reaches zero, each player receives a random item. The default length is 30 seconds, and the timer command changes it while the game is running. The idea is based on a video by Wilbur Soot. Only the server needs the mod: players can join a vanilla Minecraft server without installing anything. In LAN worlds, only the host installs it.

Random Item is server-side only and all rights reserved, so it is not open source. Items Timer is also a server-required mod, but it is released under the MIT License and open source is not claimed here; it targets 1.19.4 – 26.3 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. Simple Timer is a Forge client-side mod for 1.20.4 – 1.21.11, so players install it on their own side instead.
