Raised Clouds

Raised Clouds lets a player change the height at which the clouds appear in the sky, through a Fabric client mod.

What it does

By default the mod shifts the Y position of the clouds. A configured override sets the scale and base Y anchor that the camera uses, so the cloud layer can sit higher or lower than vanilla. Only the client needs it, so servers run without it. Installing it requires Fabric Loader, and Cloth Config API must be present as well.

Key features

  1. Adjustable cloud height

    Sets the height at which clouds are drawn, moving the layer above or below its vanilla position.

  2. Base Y anchor override

    A configured override changes the scale and base Y anchor that the camera uses to place the clouds.

  3. Client-side configuration

    Settings are changed on the client, and the default behaviour moves the cloud Y position without any change to the server.
