Raided

by Mrbysco

Raided changes how illager raids play out by adding new illager variants that players must handle during an attack.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.18.2 – 26.3

What it does

The mod expands the vanilla raid system with more advanced mechanics. Several illager variants join the raid roster, and each one asks the player to adjust tactics instead of only clearing the same mobs as before. The additions aim to make raids a planning problem rather than a repeated fight.

Raided runs on Forge and NeoForge, and both the server and every player need it, since it changes the raids that happen on the server. Files exist for game versions 1.18.2 – 26.3, across 17 release versions, and the Forge file 0.1.6 for 1.20.1 is the latest Forge build. The source code is public under the MIT License, so the code is open source.

Key features

  1. Electromancer illager

A mage-type illager that uses lightning and can convert mobs, including creepers and villagers, if it is not stopped quickly.

  2. Incinerator illager

An illager that has befriended a blaze and can spew fireballs during a raid, adding a ranged threat to the attack.

  3. Inquisitor illager

A variant added to the raid roster with its own behavior, extending the set of illagers the player must plan against.

  4. Necromancer illager

Resurrects defeated raid mobs by spending its own health, so it is a priority target if the raid is to stay manageable.

  5. Savager illager

An illager trained to attack pets, which puts the player's companions at risk during the raid.
