With Roughly Enough Professions installed, REI shows which worktables each villager profession needs, using a key on an emerald or spawn egg.

What it does

The addon lets players look up the workstation for every villager profession inside Roughly Enough Items. Pressing the Uses key on an emerald or a villager spawn egg lists all professions, and holding Shift adds the mod ID that introduced each one. Roughly Enough Items is required, and the addon is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 20 release versions, 1.18.2 – 26.3, under the MIT License, which is open source.

  1. Profession list

    The Uses key on an emerald or a villager spawn egg opens a list of every villager profession.

  2. Worktable lookup

    Each profession entry shows which worktable the villager needs to take that job.

  3. Mod ID display

    Holding Shift adds the mod ID in front of each profession, showing which mod added it.
