RadioMC is a client-side Fabric and Forge mod that streams internet radio, podcasts and audio from video platforms inside the game.
What it does
Players open the RadioMC interface with the F10 key, and it works inside menus and inventories too. From there a station can be picked from a catalog of more than 51,000 prepared stations, filtered by category, country, quality, bitrate or name. Streams in MP3, AAC, AAC+, OGG and HLS/M3U8 formats are supported, and the audio engine handles format changes without manual setup.
On first launch the mod installs and configures FFmpeg in the background, so no terminal work or environment variables are needed on Windows. Holding Alt while scrolling the mouse wheel changes playback speed. Only the client runs the mod, so a server does not need it and players can join a server without installing anything extra. Fabric API is required on Fabric builds.
Files are published for Fabric and Forge across nine release versions, 1.8.9 – 26.3. The latest Fabric file is V9 for 26.3, and the latest Forge file is V8 for 1.12.2, released on the beta channel. The mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
