Pushing Doors
by Aland_
Pushing Doors replaces the click-to-open behavior of vanilla doors, so a player can walk into a door and push it open with the body.
What it does
Doors that players walk into swing open on contact, and holding the right mouse button on a door lets the player peek through it by moving the mouse up or down. Holding Shift shows the keyhole state. Trapdoors are reworked as well, and the mod is built to overwrite vanilla door behavior rather than sit beside it.
Vanilla wooden doors convert to the pushing variant automatically, and crafting a door uses the standard vanilla recipe. Eleven wood types are covered, from the common temperate woods to the newer and nether varieties. A lever or a long redstone signal can lock a door in place.
Pushing Doors runs on Forge and NeoForge for 1.19.2, 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need it. The mod requires Player Animator, which must also be installed. The license is All rights reserved, and the code is not open source.
Key features
Body-pushed doors
Walking into a door opens it without a click, which removes the repeated right-clicking needed to pass through.
Peek and lock
Holding right click on a door peeks through the gap, and a lever or long redstone signal locks the door shut.
Keyhole inspection
Holding Shift shows the keyhole state of a door, so a locked door can be checked before approaching.
Overhauled trapdoors
Trapdoors receive the same reworked interaction as doors, so both block types behave alike.
Automatic conversion
Existing vanilla wooden doors convert to pushing doors, and placing one on the ground converts it as well.

Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Long builds and base entrances
Players moving through many doors in a base or town no longer need a separate click for each one.
Who it’s for: Players who want doors to behave more like physical objects, and server owners who run a shared world where repeated door clicks slow down travel.
How it compares
G3 Doors is client and server, covers 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 on Forge and NeoForge, and is released under All rights reserved. Door Locker is server required with optional client, runs on Fabric, Forge and Quilt for 1.19 – 1.21.8, and is under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, so it is a server-side locking option rather than a body-push system. Burst Door Open is open source under the MIT License and targets Forge for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6 only.

What the author says
Tired of constantly right-clicking every time you want to go through a door? Pushing Doors completely overhauls how you interact with doors in Minecraft. This mod does not overwrite vanilla doors. [in 1.1 is automatically converted]
