Provisioner’s Delight
Provisioner's Delight, a Forge and NeoForge food expansion, introduces tinned provisions, sealed drinks, field rations and dried biscuits as new kinds of food.
What it does
The mod is themed around preserved foods and field rations. Tins need an opener before they can be eaten from, and emptied tins and drink containers can be smelted back into iron ingots, so food, consumption and reuse form one cycle. Hard tack is built for off-hand use, letting a player dip it into soups, stews and other liquid dishes while eating them together. Cookies come in their own packaging, and eating a ration grants a nutrition buff lasting 2 minutes 30 seconds.
Beyond food, the mod concentrates on carrying and keeping supplies. Preserved items can be packed into compressed crates, and one final wooden crate holds 512 pieces of hard tack, while a single stack can carry 32,768 of them. These containers suit long-distance expeditions, warehouse management and emergency stockpiling in survival play. Provisioner's Delight requires Farmer's Delight and Patchouli, and it runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, under All rights reserved.
Key features
Preserved food variety
Sealed drinks, tinned provisions, field rations and dried biscuits widen the food choices beyond the vanilla set.
Compressed storage crates
Preserved foods compress into crates, so large quantities fit in a small space for transport or stockpiling.
Off-hand hard tack
Hard tack is eaten from the off-hand while a player holds a soup, stew or other liquid dish in the main hand.
Recycled cans
Emptied cans and beverage containers melt down into iron ingots, closing the loop from consumption to reuse.

Rationcraft covers 1.20.1 – 1.21.8 on the same loaders and environment, under All rights reserved and not open source. Avaritia's Delight is open source under the MIT License and supports 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 on Forge and NeoForge, so it differs from Provisioner's Delight mainly in license.
